The river view was beautiful, and the staff were very polite. Our room was warm and really clean. Breakfast was simple but tasty, especially the omelette, which was out of this world.

I had booked online through booking.com for the Four Seasons Riverside Hotel in Kutaisi, Georgia, but after seeing the room on arrival, my family and I couldn’t stay. It was very dirty, smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and pets were allowed, which triggered allergies for us. That pet policy hadn’t been clearly disclosed when I booked. I canceled right away and told the staff, but the hotel still refused to refund me even though the room wasn’t suitable for us.

We got in late, around 9 p.m., and when we asked about a microwave, a staff member brought us a plate and fork and warmed our food for us. The staff were really helpful, and the river view location was great. The room was very good and even had a bidet. There’s no elevator, though.

We enjoyed the riverside view room and had a great stay. The location is handy too, near Cochis fountain, where many day tours pick up.
