I loved staying here. Giorgi was the best host, welcoming me with a shot of chacha and grapes from his own vineyard. There’s always tea and biscuits, and he’s generous with his time and stories. I enjoyed hearing about Georgia’s history, including the previous owner of the house who was sent to a gulag camp during the Stalinist era, and his grandfather fighting on the Eastern Front in WWII. The house is large, spotless and full of character. My room and bed were just right, and the terrace was a great place to relax. Giorgi’s two lovely dogs, an english cocker spaniel and a husky, made it feel even more like home. Guests can also use the well-equipped kitchen downstairs. This was the best guesthouse I stayed at during my two and half weeks in Georgia. Highly recommended!

Giorgi made this peaceful homestay feel wonderfully welcoming. He was very helpful with planning and shared some of his homemade wine. The room was comfortable, and I’d highly recommend staying here.

The grapes growing in the garden make such a lovely setting, and we were lucky to taste Giorgi’s homemade wine and chacha. Our room was spotless, the bathroom had everything we needed, and both wifi and AC worked perfectly. Giorgi is respectful of your space but also enjoys a good chat. Sitting with him on his balcony was my favourite evening in Kutaisi. He’s an amazing host, kind and welcoming, and clearly passionate about Georgia. We loved hearing his stories and learning about the country. He’s a real ambassador for Georgian tourism. Ask him for advice on any part of your trip. We loved every minute and can’t recommend Giorgi’s Homestay enough.

It’s very clean, with a nice balcony, and sits in a quiet part of Kutaisi. Giorgi’s homemade wine is outstanding, and he has plenty of stories to share. He’s genuinely friendly and seems to enjoy spending an evening with guests, so the welcome and atmosphere feel very warm. Amazing place to stay, highly recommended.
