Hotel Green Town

The views from this hotel at the top of a small mountain are stunning, and worth the drive up. The access road is narrow and steep, with about five tight hairpin bends. Google Maps often gives the wrong route, sending you onto dead ends or difficult tracks. I’ve included the actual track alongside the Google Maps route to show the difference. To avoid confusion, park on the flat area along the main road at the bottom, then walk a short way to find the correct start of the access road. From there, drive up the remaining bends to the hotel. We had a great view of Kutaisi from the balcony, and parking was available. The hotel is near the church, the main spot in Kutaisi. Mr.Gaga was especially kind and helpful, and speaks English. I strongly recommend this hotel for families and anyone staying in Kutaisi.

Zaza was the highlight of our stay. He seemed to be everywhere, keeping the breakfast supplies ready, wiping down tables, and checking that guests were comfortable. He also helped us arrange a rental car and gave us lots of useful travel and sightseeing advice. The whole team made us feel welcome. Breakfast had plenty of variety and fresh ingredients, and the location was excellent for exploring the area.

The hotel is in a great spot, just a two-minute walk from the beautiful Bagadi Cathedral, and there are breathtaking views from the property. We had a lovely time on the terrace, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. During our four nights, the staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and ready to help. Our room was comfortable and well equipped, making it a very relaxing stay. The place made our trip special, highly recommend.
