Really good value, with a private bathroom and a metal kettle in the room. The hosts were friendly, and there’s air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The room was lovely, with enough space for a couple travelling with a child, and it would also be very comfortable for one person.

We’d happily come back and stay here again. It’s a welcoming family-run place: Granny speaks Russian, while her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter speak fluent English. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, and we could use the washing machine if we needed it. The guesthouse is set down a side alley, so it’s quiet for a city, though I’d still recommend earplugs because of dogs barking at night. It’s a five-minute walk from the train station and just off the main road, where circular bus 1 runs from the main bus station and the other train station. The central square is about ten minutes away. You pass Fleur on the way, and it’s worth eating there too.

The center is just a short walk away, so the location worked really well. It’s a lovely family guesthouse with a beautiful garden and super clean rooms. There’s a kettle and coffee in the room too 👌
