Hotel Veneto

Sofia was wonderful, arranging breakfast for a time that suited us and quickly responding to our other requests. The place was clean and in a great location. We loved staying at the Veneto and would definitely recommend it.

A really disgraceful hotel. The manager wasn’t there, so the employee had to call her whenever something came up. He was polite, but she was completely unprofessional. They also wanted to keep my passport. When I refused, they told us to cancel the booking, even though I said no because canceling ourselves would have meant paying the full price. On arrival, we found there was no parking, despite the booking listing it. They expected us to park on the street. The room key wouldn’t lock the door, so they moved us to another room where the heating didn’t work. Finally, they tried to insist breakfast had to be at 10 AM. We had to complain before they agreed to an earlier time.

The staff were very friendly and brought us some wine. We were the first guests after the full renovation, and the place looks lovely, with ceiling stucco and pictures on the walls. It’s right in the middle of Kutaissi, and you can park on the street just outside the hotel. I’d stay here again.

The owners were so kind, helpful, and open-hearted. The rooms were pleasant, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The hotel is right in the city center, and the Georgian bus stop for getting to the airport is just a four-minute walk away. A lovely stay, madloba! 👍
