The White Bridge is free to cross and only takes a moment to see, but it adds a lot to a walk around central Kutaisi. Its detailed, artistic look makes it a landmark, and the views from it were still impressive when we visited in August, even though the river below was mostly dried up. The view from the bridge is nice, and the statue is fun. It isn't especially remarkable, but if you're in Kutaisi, it's worth popping by for a few minutes.
The setting is what makes this bridge worth seeing. Around it are cafes and shops, and there's a lively feel; couples often use it for wedding photos. You can look out over a calm river or fountain and the big white rocks beside it. The bridge itself is a simple structure with glass panels, nothing particularly special, but the surroundings are picturesque.
I heard this is an iconic bridge for people in Kutaisi. There's also a sculpture called the Picasso boy, though I don't know whether Picasso himself made it.
It's a wide iron pedestrian bridge, so there are no vehicles or traffic to worry about. A couple of spots are good for photos, and some sections have clear flooring where you can see the river underneath. I would've rated it five stars if there'd been something happening on the bridge, like live music.
