Beko’s garden Inn

A peaceful spot for unwinding, with serene surroundings and breathtaking mountain views, especially at sunset. I especially enjoyed the spacious yard, where you can relax or have a bonfire and BBQ. Beko’s Garden Inn is clean and well maintained, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. The sauna and jacuzzi are available for an additional cost. I highly recommend it if you’re looking to relax.

The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed, from shampoo and shower gel to toothbrushes, robes, and slippers. The beds were cozy and warm; January nights felt a little chilly, but the duvets helped a lot. Each evening there was a fire going in the lobby, a nice place to sit and talk. Our hosts were so kind, and the woman made us a homemade breakfast every morning just for the three of us. When we needed to catch an early bus, she got up even earlier to prepare food. We really appreciated that. ❤️ Thank you ❤️ It’s about a 15-minute walk to the city centre, but I’d recommend staying here without hesitation. 😊

The garden, with its apple trees, flowers, and fish pond, makes for a lovely setting, and the glass walls in the heated dining area give you beautiful views while you have tea or coffee. We skipped breakfast, but those drinks were available for guests. The woman working in the lobby was kind and clearly worked very hard. The owner lit a bonfire every evening and invited guests to join his BBQs, with wine available too. Our room was clean and heated, with a comfortable bed and hot water in the shower. It was small but fine for two people and a couple of bags. There’s no table or bidet, but the balcony and its two chairs were enough for sitting and enjoying the view. From the first floor, the scenery was especially striking, both in front and behind the inn. It’s a little outside the centre. We walked into town and also cooked eggs and other things in the inn’s kitchen. The owner suggested Lushnu Qor, a nice local restaurant near the bridge. We loved our time in Mestia.

We weren’t told that renovations were underway, and the welcome we got was unpleasant. We felt like a burden whenever we asked for anything, as if we weren’t wanted there. The Wi-Fi was out, the bathroom wouldn’t flush, and the key got stuck in the door, which then wouldn’t lock. Breakfast was awful, cold, and seemed to have been sitting for hours. We’d paid for it but left to eat somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
