This was our second stay here, and we’d definitely come back again. Mary had a delicious hot dinner ready for our group, beautifully served and made with local produce, even though we arrived very late. She was very accommodating. The rooms were clean and warm, with hot water and the lovely views shown in the photo. Breakfast was just as good, fresh Georgian food baked locally.
We got a flat tire 10 km away and called the hotel. They came to pick us up, then made us a whole dinner as soon as we arrived. After we ate, they offered breakfast for the morning too. They treated us like family.
We spent one night here while traveling through Svaneti and enjoyed it a lot. The service and food were great, and the rooms were warm and clean. Highly recommend.
The Georgian food was authentic and really tasty, and the hosts were very friendly. Service was excellent, both over the phone when we booked and once we arrived. It’s a quiet, beautiful spot with a large property that’s been designed with care. We only stayed one night with our children, so couldn’t explore the area more, but we’ll come back.
I came across this beautiful valley and hotel by chance while traveling in Georgia in May of 2023. I’ve traveled much of the world in my 75 years, and this is one of the best places I’ve stayed. M and her husband were gracious hosts, and they made homemade bread, cheese, and more. They now have two beautiful babies to keep them busy. I follow them on Instagram and dream of returning to Georgia.
