Ioska's House

I’ve stayed here a few times, and the rooms have always been clean. The owners are super friendly and ready to help, breakfast is great, and the garden terrace under the apple trees has amazing mountain views. Highly recommend staying here.

I stayed here with my wife in October 2021, though I’m writing this review pretty late. We still have good memories of Mestia thanks to Ioska's House. The place was amazing, with a cozy, nicely renovated living and dining room downstairs where you could have coffee or tea. It was kept clean, and the instructions for getting into the building and connecting to WiFi were clear. A very sweet woman made us breakfast in the morning. I hope Bony is doing well too!

A really relaxing place in Mestia, with lovely little details. The garden, rooms, breakfast, and friendly staff were all amazing. Thanks for such a nice stay!

The housekeeping ladies are nice. I liked the quiet location away from the bustle, the mountain views, and the outdoor lounge with tables, chairs, and hammocks. There’s a washing machine and a place outside to hang laundry. Breakfast was good, and the kitchen and dining area are open all the time. Guests can’t cook, but there’s a toaster, sink, fridge, and you can make tea or coffee. Check-in was odd. Nobody greeted us at first. Eventually a woman came from the house next door and let us choose a room, without explaining anything else. Later I saw the owner greeting other guests, but we had to guess who he was because he never introduced himself to us. The WiFi router is in the kitchen, so the farther your room is from there, the worse the connection. The walls have no insulation, and when someone uses the bathroom or showers it feels like they’re doing it in your room. The main stairs are dangerous, so be extra careful going down. The floor in our room squeaks. The window shades barely work; we tried them once and left them alone for the rest of our stay. There’s no shower curtain or place to put things by the sink, and everything gets wet when you shower. The toilet takes a few tries to flush anything, and the old faucet parts are falling out.
