The rooms were warm, clean, and comfortable, and the mountain views were lovely. We had two bathrooms with showers, hot water, a kitchen, and electric heaters that were handy for drying wet hiking gear. The host was extremely kind and let us leave our backpacks while we went hiking for a couple of days. It’s affordable and close to shops, the city center, and the bus stop. Nice people, and I’d highly recommend it.
It feels wonderfully peaceful up here, almost like staying in a quiet village, and the views over Mestia and the mountains are amazing. The guest house has several pleasant shared spaces, including a lovely spot outside to sit. It’s clean and comfortable, too. You do have to walk uphill a little, but the supermarket and bus stop are still only about ten minutes away. One of the best guest houses in Georgia!
Irine was polite and helpful, and the kitchen was huge, with a kettle and plenty of utensils. I stayed one night and got a double bed for a very reasonable price. There’s also a living room and a balcony with a hammock. Just be aware that you have to climb a few metres to get there.
That balcony was my favorite spot, with lovely views and room to relax after a day hiking. It’s a nice place to rest. The bed wasn’t the best, but when you’re tired it doesn’t really matter.
The room was spacious, and it was so quiet at night. We loved relaxing in the hammock and looking out at the mountains. Irina was super friendly and flexible. Wifi could be better, and the kitchen could use more light.
