Nadia Guesthouse

Three very nice and helpful ladies run this place. It’s outside town, so it’s very quiet, and there’s a big garden to relax in plus a dog to play with. For hikers, it’s on the trail back from Koroldi lakes and Mestia Cross.

The staff were wonderful. One evening, a kind woman knocked on our door and brought us delicious watermelon slices. The shared kitchen and refrigerator were also great. Just know that reaching the guesthouse means taking an incredibly steep, narrow, uneven cobblestone road. Our Toyota hybrid sedan barely made it, while 4x4s and trucks should have no problem. Thankfully, they let us park on level ground inside the gate. The hotel accepts cash only, no credit cards.

The views were amazing, and the rooms were simple but comfortable. This is the most welcoming, hospitable guesthouse I’ve ever stayed at, and the food was the best I had in Mestia. They cook better than the restaurants, so you should eat here if you stay.

The ladies looking after guests were so helpful with every little question. There’s a summer terrace where you can get cold drinks, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. We also really enjoyed our room with the mountain view. We had an amazing stay at Nadia Guesthouse.
