The hotel was clean, but there wasn’t a view from any of the balconies, just broken buildings around. It’s an average place for a one-night stay. The location is okay, though it’s in small lanes and hard to find.

It’s a small, tidy, nice hotel that isn’t expensive, on a quiet street just a few steps from the town centre. If you’re fine without the luxury of a 5-star hotel, Hotel History is a good choice. Breakfast comes from the couple who own the cafe next door, and they cook everything just for you.

The location is great, and the room was clean and tidy. Everything here is by the book. The shower water wasn’t very hot, and there was only one mirror, in the bathroom. The bedroom could use another mirror. There was no TV screen, shower gel, or hair conditioner. Good for families and pet friendly.

Each room has its own history theme, which is a creative touch, and the hotel looks clean and cozy. We had no problems with the bathroom water, a dirty room, low temperature, or anything else. There are extra blankets in the rooms in case it gets cold outside. In the evening, the public terrace is a great place to sit, watch the sunset, and drink wine.
