The rooms felt almost new, with really cozy beds, and the mountain view from the house is lovely. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the centre. We also liked the porch, especially the spot for a fire. The family hosting us was warm and very nice. One thing to know: the listing photos are incorrect.

Even when people didn’t understand English, we had a great time in Kazbegi. Everyone was so sweet and ready to help, and the hospitality was great. It was a really relaxed stay.

The hostess was welcoming, and our room was clean with working facilities. The problem is that the Google Maps photos gave us the wrong impression: the first few pictures are actually of Rooms Kazbegi, a 5-star hotel. This guesthouse has no pool, sauna, or deck, so the listing is a bit misleading.

A small, peaceful town in the mountains, with plenty of restaurants and lovely hotels. It’s a nice place to relax.

Breakfast is 15 Lari per person, and it was fine. Nice place, though sound carries between the two adjoining rooms, so keep your voice down if you don’t want to be overheard.
