The owners were very welcoming and accommodating, and we were comfortable during our two-night stay. The mother made an exceptional breakfast, and we even took some along for our daily hikes. We really recommend this place.

Red Stone is close to the Cminda Sameba trail, with an amazing view of the Kazbegi. It’s a little outside town, which makes for a peaceful, quiet rest. The family-run guest house has spacious, very comfortable, clean rooms, and breakfast is delicious and served the way you like it. Everyone was kind, friendly, and helpful. A fantastic place, definitely recommend!

The rooms are comfortable, and the views are the best in town. The family who runs the place is so kind and welcoming, and breakfast is homemade with fresh ingredients. It’s right at the start of an easy church hike, in the most authentic part of Stepansminsda. Thanks for everything :)

Red Stone Guesthouse had a spacious room with a balcony, plenty of room for up to three people, and a handy spot to hang clothes to dry. The toilet was clean and worked well, with warm water, and breakfast was great. The walk up from town is steep and takes about 10 minutes. We didn’t ask, but I don’t think the owner can offer much hiking advice for the region or help arrange transport to Juta and elsewhere.
