We stayed for several days in February 2026 and had no problems. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the water was always hot, and the staff were friendly. The heater worked so well that I sometimes opened the window to cool the room down. There are beautiful views on both sides of the valley. Highly recommended!

This hotel is a perfect place to get away and spend some time on your own. The scenery is so stunning I was able to take some amazing photos and videos. The location and views feel almost unreal, and the food was exceptionally delicious. A special thank you to Tako, who was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommended!

Breakfast in Hotel Sunshine’s dining room gives you a front-row view of Kazbegi at sunrise. With Georgian tea or coffee, you can watch Mount Kazbek emerge from the dark. Its snow-covered summit catches the first light and turns gold. Below it, Gergeti Trinity Church sits on its own green hill, at first in silhouette, then showing more detail as the light grows. The crisp air outside and warmth inside make the meal feel especially lovely. It’s a beautiful way to see the mountains and start the day.

The only issue I noticed was a bit of creaking in the hallway and on the stairs when people moved around. Otherwise, I had a wonderful stay, and the staff were warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. They were always ready to help with a smile.
