Adamo Hotel

The bathrooms had a strong unpleasant smell throughout our stay, and I also had problems with the air conditioning and housekeeping. The AC across the hotel was set to heating or not working properly. When I called reception about my room, they said it wasn't working in any room and only the heating system was operating. When I asked how we were meant to sleep in the heat, I was told nothing could be done because it was “the hotel system.” I asked to speak with the manager, but the first receptionist refused at first, saying it was too late. Another receptionist was more helpful and contacted the manager. We were offered another room with a small bed and separate AC, which didn't work for my family, then a suite with separate AC for the first night only, which was acceptable. One person in our group was also put in a room with a small bed and found blood stains on the bedding. She spent her first night without proper AC. We were told the hotel would switch to cooling the next day, but my room still wasn't cooling properly afterward. After my room was cleaned in the morning, there was hair on the sheets and bedding, which didn't look like it had been changed properly. I asked reception for fresh sheets and covers. A staff member came up and questioned whether I'd requested cleaning, even though the room had been cleaned, then said he'd contact the manager. He later said housekeeping had left and nothing could be done. I showed him the dirty bedding and explained that wasn't acceptable, but after more than 30 minutes they were still saying it was “in process” with no fix. The customer service, cleanliness, and maintenance didn't meet expectations. I hope management takes these problems seriously and improves things for future guests.
