Amiran`s Lake

Our booking was cancelled without any notice, and we were left stranded on the last day of our trip, having to find somewhere else to book. The place was also a nightmare to find. Avoid.

We booked this as a place near the airport and planned to go into town later, but Amiran had other ideas. He showed us around the paradise he'd built himself, shared his homemade wine, and filled the swimming pool. We were having such a good time that leaving never crossed our minds. His wife cooked for us, and we spent time relaxing in the hammocks. It ended up being the highlight of an already great trip. If you're after a high-end luxury hotel with fashionable boutiques, this isn't it. But for a special atmosphere, meeting locals, trying local food and wine, and having a great time, it's perfect.

We arrived really late, but the family made us a great dinner when we asked. The hospitality was wonderful. I only regret that we stayed for just one night.

The owner is very kind, and the place is so beautiful and unusual. The rooms and bath were super clean.
