There aren’t enough showers and toilets for the number of beds. The beds are comfortable enough and have blankets, though. It’s a laid-back place with an artsy feel, tucked into a quiet alley. There’s a fireplace for winter and a kitchen for cooking, just make sure to clean up after yourself. The staff are friendly and know the area well if you have questions.

The bathroom has just one toilet for five rooms, and the shower is usually freezing. It was an unpleasant, fairly dirty place. I’ve been through many countries in Asia and never met an owner as sinister as this one. She sent a family with kids away even though they had a reservation, apparently because she didn’t like them. She also cheated me over a taxi booking and tried to charge friends of mine far too much to leave a backpack for a couple of days. reservation abd

I was really angry about what happened to us at this hostel, especially with the owner, Maia. We’d booked a room for 45 Lari and left our backpacks there in the morning while we went on a day trip. When we returned late, every room was full. A helpful guy working there said we’d have to move to another house next to the hostel. That’s where we met Maia, who told us to pay 60 Lari. I couldn’t believe it. She said she’d cancelled my booking, which was a lie because I hadn’t received an email about it. Then, right there, she cancelled it and wanted me to confirm. I felt very uncomfortable. She was loud and unfriendly. After some arguing, she again told me to pay 60. Once she left the room, we checked the mattress and saw it was dirty, possibly with bedbug tracks. I know what those look like. We decided not to sleep there and left the hostel. It was 1:30 am, and we had to find somewhere else!

It was a filthy, gloomy, smelly dungeon. We showed up and it was awful. For some reason, the owner had to come meet us and kept us waiting for over 20 minutes. Thankfully we hadn’t paid yet, so we left to find somewhere else. That was definitely the right call.

I came back after being out for the day and found my bag left outside my room. They said I had to go because they had a better reservation. It was the worst thing that's ever happened to me in a hostel. I had to find somewhere else at 8 at night, after staying there just one day.
