Citrus Hotel

The rooms at Citrus Hotel, Tbilisi were clean and decent, but the studios felt compact and the corridor was quite congested. The whole place felt tight, and the staff weren’t particularly child friendly, which made our stay less comfortable. An average experience.

We first stayed here in 2019 and loved it, and it’s still a cozy, calm spot right in the heart of the city, behind the parliament building. The restaurant serves Georgian and European food and stays open until midnight. A good place to stay in Tbilissi, whether you’re visiting as a tourist or for business.

We spent four nights here in August 2025. The junior suite on the ninth floor was very spacious, with an incredible balcony and views. The hotel feels modern, though a few areas are starting to show their age. There’s only one lift, so expect to wait at busy times. Breakfast was adequate, nothing special, and the location is in a quiet area surrounded by government buildings. There’s underground parking on site. We arrived at 7am and found all the staff asleep, despite the hotel saying it has a 24/7 front desk. The person checking us in actually fell asleep during the process while holding a teddy bear. A strange start.

It’s a very quiet hotel in a great location. The continental breakfast is good and generous, though I wish they had jellies or jams.
