City Avenue Hotel

Breakfast was the worst part. It was limited, stone cold, and exactly the same every morning across my 4 nights. There was no variety at all. I checked in here 3 times in 8 days, and rooms in the same category didn’t even have matching bathrooms or towels. Sometimes there were two hand towels, sometimes one, and once just 1 bath towel for 2 people. We could ask for more, but that shouldn’t be necessary. No dental or hygiene kit either, and there’s no dinner ordering because the restaurant only operates until lunch. Very average, just somewhere to sleep and go.

The rooms are okay, but cleaning is poor: they only straighten the bed cover. The bathrooms have no tissues, and there aren’t toothbrushes or cotton swabs either, just basic essentials missing. Breakfast is very bad and the food feels old. I don’t understand how this hotel got a four-star rating.

This is my third stay at City Avenue Hotel Tbilisi, and whenever I visit Tbilisi, I book here. It’s one of the best hotel options in the city, linking the lively Arab Street, full of restaurants and cafes. Breakfast is excellent. The reception staff are friendly and always smiling, especially Ms. Tako. They give you the service you want and make you feel welcome to return. I highly recommend booking here.

The lady at reception was especially kind and lovely, and the staff gave us such a heartfelt, warm welcome. We really enjoyed their hospitality, thank you, and we hope to visit again.
