Doors Hotel

The room had no wardrobe for clothes, no safe, and no bedside lamps. There wasn't a proper mirror either, just one on the bathroom door. Its advertised balcony was so tiny it was barely usable. The pillows were hard, and breakfast was basic and could be better. The hotel itself was clean, and the internet was fast and reliable. We got no help with our luggage when we arrived, though. The young woman at reception was polite and very helpful, a real bright spot. There are several things to improve for a comfortable stay.

The quiet location is only a few steps from the main road, and the reception staff were accommodating. I liked the spacious, nice room at Doors Hotel in Tbilisi. I'd choose it again on my next trip to Georgia, and recommend it to people visiting.

I've stayed here twice while in Georgia. Giorgi and the gang were friendly and helpful. The rooms are plain, but roomy and comfortable, with pretty much what you need. It's a little way from the centre, though taxis on Yandex are cheap and the metro is cheap too. Breakfast could use improvement, but feels acceptable for the nightly price. It was a welcome change after dealing with people elsewhere in the country who seemed aggressive and unhappy to see you.

The rooms are practical. I just don't like that the receptionist works around the clock without sleeping!
