Sharing the rooms and bathroom is part of the deal, but for an affordable stay this place is a good choice. It’s close to Rustaveli Metro, with a welcoming little patio and shared lobby. The hostel is well kept, and the new owners have updated the bedding.
I keep coming back here because it’s my favorite hostel. It’s usually quiet and tucked away, and everyone gets a locker with a key. The place is fairly clean. Cats sometimes wander around, though, which could be an issue if you’re allergic.
The location is fabulous, and the place is nice and clean for a budget stay. I’m allergic to cats, so finding their pet cats in the room before we went in was unpleasant. They should keep in mind that many people have cat allergies.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean. We paid 80 GEL for a double room with its own bathroom, which seemed reasonable. You can leave belongings in the fridge or store a suitcase for a day after checkout. It’s near Rustaveli Metro, Khinkhali House, and bus stop #37, which runs directly to the airport around the clock from in front of the Science Academy building.
It’s a quiet place with good prices. Our room door wouldn’t lock when we arrived, but they repaired it after our first night. I’m giving four stars because some staff were very friendly, while others barely paid attention when we spoke to them.
