Gallery Palace Hotel

My stay at Gallery Palace Hotel in Tbilisi was severely affected by a booking dispute and the way it was handled. I had reserved three nights through a trusted UAE travel agent, and the confirmation clearly showed three nights. On the second day, at about 8:30 PM, the night-shift receptionist insisted my booking was for only two nights and told me to check out immediately. I contacted the agent, who confirmed that the reservation was for three nights. This caused stress and disrupted my schedule during a trip meant for relaxation. The receptionist was rude and dismissive, and I felt unwelcome and without basic courtesy. I personally felt I wasn't being treated fairly, especially as an Indian, though I'm not claiming to know his intent. I also had trouble getting basic services. When I asked for drinking water in the room, the receptionist told me to get it myself from the reception kitchen and said the hotel doesn't provide water to rooms. No one cleaned the room or came by to check or provide amenities. The restaurant served the same menu for three days in a row, and the food seemed reheated rather than freshly prepared. When I raised these concerns, I was told this was a budget hotel and this was its level of service. That response showed little regard for guest satisfaction or hospitality standards. Local travel agents in Georgia also told me these kinds of issues were common at the property, which was disappointing to hear. The experience left me anxious and unable to trust the hotel's service or management. I'm submitting this report to inform management, ask for a proper investigation and clarification about the booking discrepancy, and help prevent similar problems for future guests. Based on my stay and what I heard from local agents, I strongly recommend that travelers use caution before booking Gallery Palace Hotel.
