The hosts seem very kind, and the place is quiet, private, comfortable, and clean. It's not a five-star serviced apartment, but it worked well for me. The room was roomy, with a modern private bathroom and lovely furniture that creaked a little. It could use some airing during the day. I didn't need a kitchen, but ask if you do. Finding the entrance took some effort: go through the imposing iron gate, cross the courtyard, then take the stairs on the left to the door with the bell.

Breakfast was arranged for us, and grandma Lilly made the most delicious meal. The place feels wonderfully Georgian, like staying at your grandma's house while visiting her. The rooms are comfortable: two share a bathroom, while the others have private ones. We ended up here because our original property was overbooked. It's close to the main pedestrian street and within walking distance of the other central attractions. Even with the shared building and courtyard, we felt safe. You can sit outside and have a genuine chat with Maya and Lilly, who are happy to talk.
