The location near Avlabari is decent, but the room was tiny, and the bathroom made it uncomfortable to stay in. There was a terrible smell from the toilet that spread through the room even with the door shut. It seemed like a proper drain valve might fix it, but one apparently hasn’t been installed. Check-in felt awkward and unwelcoming too. The owner and another guy were lying on the sofa when we arrived, seeming uninterested in guests. No greeting or urgency, just the feeling we were interrupting their personal space. Better maintenance and a more professional attitude could make this place much better.

Breakfast came with my booking and was good, and I’d be happy to visit again. The room was clean and comfortable, though very basic, and great value for the price. It’s a cosy little place right in the old city. The team didn’t speak English, but they still made me feel very welcome and were helpful.

Maka, the hotel’s manager, was especially helpful and such a nice lady. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and it felt like a family-friendly place. They let me check out at 1 pm instead of noon since my flight wasn’t until 5. The toilet and shower were clean, which matters a lot to me when I stay in a hostel, guest house, or hotel. There’s a convenience store about 15 steps from the entrance, and Avlabari metro station is nearby. Breakfast is served daily at 8:30 am, and the food was nice. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The breakfasts were included, tasty, and different each day. Katie made wonderful homemade food and kept the room clean, which we really appreciated. Manager Zaza was kind and very welcoming, and helped us at check-in and throughout the stay. We had a lovely time here, with a convenient location and cosy, clean rooms.
