Hotel Georgian House

I cancelled my second night and stayed elsewhere. At least they refunded that night. I was in the shared hostel room, where the beds were worn out and the springs poked into my back all night. The toilet was broken, the room was too warm and had no air conditioning, and breakfast was very mediocre.

The common room was a highlight for me, with its distinctive decorations, and the shower room was clean. The breakfast was included in the 35 Lari price, which felt like a good deal in a district full of tourist hotels. It's easy to get to old tbilisi, and the servers were polite and spoke English, which helped. One thing could be better: there was a lot of dust beside the bed, so that area needs cleaning.

There's no parking lot, and hardly any room to park for free in the alley. Still, the location is very good, close to grocery stores and downtown. The hotel has a lovely yard where you can spend time with friends day or night, a friendly atmosphere, and an entrance that's open 24 hours. The service and rooms are normal. If you're not expecting luxury or especially strong service, I'd recommend it.

The staff were kind and explained things thoroughly, and the price was very reasonable. I loved the decorations, and the breakfast was really nice. There was just one shower room, but people seemed to respect one another while using it. Cleaning could be better, though, since there was lots of dust beside the bed. I wish I could have stayed longer. I had an early schedule and couldn't, but spending time on the benches in the front garden and chatting with other travellers sounds like it would have been lovely.
