Hotel Neapol

This is a three-star hotel and apartment, with standard service and very kind staff. Mr. George, the owner, is often around to greet guests. A few water bottles on arrival would be nice for travelers just getting in. There's a kettle for tea and coffee, but you have to buy them yourself, and a supermarket is just a few steps away. The hotel is in a calm area near the center. A taxi to the old center should cost 5 lari, though drivers might ask for more, so stick to the usual fare.

The people and their excellent hospitality are why I gave four stars. The hotel itself is a regular three-star place in the city, with grocery shops open 24/7 next door, and most restaurants deliver. There wasn't a complimentary water bottle. Breakfast was very simple: juice, coffee or tea, one kind of bread, cheese, honey, jam, butter, olives, some fruit slices, an omelette, sausage, chicken nuggets, and chocos.

Everything was good here, and the hospitality was excellent. The owner and staff treated us especially well.

It's a new hotel with clean rooms, friendly staff, and moderate prices. The breakfast was simple and below what I expected, and there was a little noise in the area at night.
