Hotel Penthouse

The metro is just a minute away, so it's easy to get around, and there are money exchange shops nearby. Wine Room and Cafe Bar Gamarjoba are close by too, both serving great Georgian food at reasonable prices, often cheaper than the more touristy spots. I stayed in three types of rooms. In summer, the rooms take a while to cool down after you turn on the AC during the day. The cheapest room wasn't that great, but the others were amazingly comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay at the Penthouse Hotel in Tbilisi. The staff were cordial and helpful, the rooms were spacious and bright, and the balcony views over Tbilisi's rooftops were lovely, especially for sitting out in the evening with tea or wine. Breakfast each morning had a satisfying range of options.

From the breakfast area, there's a magnificent view over some of Tbilisi's old parts, and it's just a short walk into the historic center. A couple of nice restaurants are close by, including one with traditional Georgian dancing. We were lucky to stay at the Penthouse Hotel. The location is fantastic, and the staff were incredibly helpful with excellent service.

The hotel is all on the fourth floor, and you can walk to Europe Square, right in the heart of the city. The view from the breakfast restaurant over Ananuri fortress and the hills was wonderful. The breakfast team deserves a special shout-out for serving different items each day. Our bed did make a noise every time we moved.

The hotel is on the third floor, within walking distance of the tourist spots and the metro. Our room and bathroom were spacious and clean, and breakfast was good with plenty of buffet choices. The restaurant also has a nice view of the hill, fortress, and church.
