Jazz Hotel

The photos don't look much like the actual room or hotel. The staff were rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful, the beds were very uncomfortable, and the AC wasn't working right. The bathroom was tiny and uncomfortable. The balcony view was ugly, and it faced the sun, so when it was hot you couldn't sit out there. One of the worst hotels I've stayed in. I'd spend more and go somewhere else.

For the price, the hotel offers good value. The room is spacious and good overall, and the bed is great. But you can't control the AC mode, because the administration sets heating or cooling for the whole hotel. I had to leave for that reason. By car, it's 15 minutes from the center, which isn't a big deal if you don't mind being away from the center of Tiblisi, since taxis are cheap.

We had a terrible stay in room 203. The toilet flush was broken, and although we told the staff, nothing was done. The next day our electronic key card stopped working, so we couldn't get into the room. Worst of all, a complete stranger opened our door in the middle of the night. The location is also very far from the city center. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The breakfast was very good, everything seemed clean, and the swimming pool area was cozy, clean, and well maintained. You could tell the management was doing its job well, and we liked the hotel overall. Still, there were some odd and inconvenient things. A street dog sat in an armchair in the lobby, and staff fed it there. Food was scattered around and caused an unpleasant smell. We were surprised that the receptionist spoke only Russian, not Georgian or English, which made it hard to communicate. At night, guests in the next room were partying, knocking on the walls and slamming doors. We called reception to ask them to stop, but it was difficult to explain because of the language barrier.
