Madera Hotel

Tbilisi is amazing, and this little gem made for a great stay. It has proper Georgian style, blending historic and hip, trendy touches. The helpful, lovely staff and the city center location are great, with everything close by on a quiet side street. Highly recommended!

The best part for us was how clean and quiet the hotel stayed, without feeling crowded, and the price was very reasonable. We walked a lot and liked having entertainment options on both sides of the hotel. We loved our stay and would definitely come back if we visit Georgia again. We stayed from September 19, 2024, to September 26, 2024, in Vera, in the city center, close to Vake district and Freedom Square. The street is quiet, and Rustaveli metro station is a 15-minute walk away. A taxi to the airport takes 25 minutes, and the hotel can arrange a transfer. The hotel is small, with a homely atmosphere and a little courtyard. Staff were friendly, spoke Russian, Georgian, and English, and helped with requests and questions. Our spacious room had a balcony, bathroom, small refrigerator, kettle, and the utensils we needed. The hotel was very clean. The room was cleaned thoroughly, towels changed, and slippers and bath amenities, including toothbrushes, gel, and shampoo, were provided. There’s a spacious dining room with a microwave, kettle, and utensils. Tea and coffee are free and always available, and breakfast costs 10 lari. There’s even a real working fireplace. Nearby are model shops, a coffee shop, village food stores, and a fruit and vegetable stand.
