I stayed for 10 days and would come back if I return to Tblisi. The hotel is clean and safe, right in a great part of the city center, and the Georgian family gives guests a lovely welcome.

The owners are very friendly, and the low price makes this a great choice. It’s on a quiet side street not far from Avlabari metro station. The rooms are basic, but have everything you need.

The kitchen was the one thing I liked, since I cook every day and wanted to extend my stay. The beds have wire springs and were pretty uncomfortable, and there’s a construction site right next door, so it’s noisy and disruptive. Management felt unusual too. There are two people at reception and a manager who seemed to be around 17 and unfamiliar with basic professional norms. The way she asks for payment is uncomfortable and gives the impression that she thinks guests might leave without paying. I asked to stay longer and staff initially confirmed, but the next day I was told to leave because someone else had booked my room. They blamed me for not paying in advance, even though staff had specifically told me I could pay later.

The room was nice and clean, and the staff were very friendly. Don’t count on small extras like bottled water or a tourist map. Their driver showed up at the airport over an hour late. Still, the value is exceptional, and the place has a certain charm.
