Our first visit to Tbilisi left us unsure where to stay, but after ten days here I never regretted our choice. The staff were so warm that we ended up feeling like one family and became friends with them. They really care about guests and make sure you're looked after. When we arrived, a smiling young woman showed us to our room and offered breakfast. Everyone was polite, friendly, and quick to help. Breakfast costs extra, but we found it well worth it. Everything came out fresh and hot, and the croissants were baked just before breakfast, so the whole house smelled amazing. They were also happy to adjust things to our preferences. My wife wanted boiled eggs instead of an omelette, and they accommodated her. Whenever we asked, they brought tea, and they promptly swapped our one large blanket for two separate ones. The air conditioner was a little noisy, which was the one minor drawback. It didn't take away from a wonderful stay.

Being right on Tbilisi's main street makes the location hard to beat, though the restored old building can be tricky to find at first. The rooms are roomy, stylish, and very clean. Some face the street with balconies, but the windows keep the noise out. Service was superb. Breakfast is simple, with scrambled eggs, a croissant, fresh juice, and fruit, just enough to get the day started. I'd definitely recommend it.

The staff were so kind, and having a clean, spacious room in such a great spot made this a lovely base for our trip. They stored our bags while we took shorter trips around the region, which helped a lot, and even gave us a bottle of wine when we left. We had a phenomenal time at Octava Hotel :)

Nicely decorated, and right on Rustaveli Avenue. We could walk to lots of places from here.

The owners were lovely to deal with, and getting in touch was easy. I especially liked the little rooms, with their books and a proper workspace, which made them feel cozy and good for getting things done. The place also looks great and is in a perfect spot. I'd happily recommend it for a stay that's both attractive and practical.
