Old Side Corner

I forgot to cancel by the stated deadline, so that part was my fault. But when I had to cancel my Georgia trip at the last minute, the hotel kindly agreed to waive the cancellation fee. I sincerely appreciate their understanding, and I'll definitely stay there when I plan the trip again.

The location is the one good thing. They left us waiting for two months without telling us the prices for our preferred date, then cancelled our booking and said to wait for the prices. A few days later we checked and saw the rooms were fully booked. They ignored our calls and messages. The workers were rude, and the whole experience was awful.

The friendly staff went beyond what we expected and treated us to local vine for free :)). Our room at Old Side Corner was clean and had a balcony. It's right in the heart of Tbilisi's old town, a lovely base for sightseeing and taking in the local charm. A delightful escape.

The location is strategic and quiet, a solid choice if you need to stay in the very touristy old town. Liberty Square, the cable car, and the sulphur baths are an eight-minute walk away. The staff tried to help, but didn't sort out our safe, which wouldn't open when we arrived, or our request for an iron and ironing board. The rooms are missing basics like chairs, and the bathrooms are tiny and not very clean. The breakfast area had the same cleanliness issue.
