The location is the best part, right in the center near Avlabari metro station, with everything close by. It's a small hostel with two rooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom. One room has two beds and the other has four bunk beds. It has what you need, including dishes, Wi-Fi, a fan, air conditioning, a refrigerator, and an iron.
The metro is just a 3-minute walk away, and the city center is about 5 minutes on foot. There’s also a good Palermo café nearby with a high Tripadvisor rating, and pretty much everything else you need is close by. The hostel has the essentials, though the washing machine wasn’t working.
For the price, it was fine for an overnight stay. There’s a kitchen and a shower, and everything else was okay. The washing machine was out of order.
The kitchen and toilet were cramped and uncomfortable. There wasn’t any breakfast, despite what the booking said, and not even tea was available.
The owner was good and the place was cheap, but roadworks carried on at night. We couldn’t sleep for three nights in a row.
