The Suite had a good view and plenty of space, though having just one bathroom so close to the entrance was awkward. The location is handy, right by Liberty Square, with lift access to galleria mall. Vegan breakfast options were the main letdown: there were very few vegetables and no fruit. They brought green apples when I asked, but it would be good to have more vegan choices.

The central location is about the only thing this hotel has going for it. My room was tiny and uncomfortable, nothing like the photos, with no closet and very dim lighting. It also wasn’t clean, with dirt and grime visible. Breakfast was disappointing too, with few choices and a dining room that was always overcrowded and stressful. Mall maintenance noise went on until midnight and started again early in the morning, so there was no rest. The hotel didn’t try to address it and just said it came from the next building and they couldn’t do anything. I stayed three nights, and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The view was amazing, and restaurants, the mall, and city attractions were easy to get to, so thanks to my travel agent for choosing the hotel. The woman checking me in wasn’t welcoming and didn’t smile. I work in hospitality, so I understand service. When I called to ask for an adapter, she told me to come pick it up myself. What a joke. Even a three-star hotel has housekeeping service. Breakfast choices were very limited. The bar staff member, though, was polite and welcoming.

The good things were the location, directly connected to the mall, and a tasty breakfast. Fresh fruit and cappuccino could have been better, though. The rooms were clean but very small, with no safe, wardrobe, or many bathroom accessories, and the staff weren’t very helpful. At around 10:30 PM, we couldn’t get ketchup for my four-year-old daughter’s fries. We asked both the lounge and reception, waited about half an hour to find someone in the lounge, and still got no help. So much for late night lounge service at a four-star hotel. My wife cut her hand, and staff had no bandage. Reception first said they had nothing. After we asked about a first-aid kit in a four-star hotel, they gave us only white gauze, which was no use. We had to wait until the mall opened the next morning to buy a bandage. The mall connection didn’t help much with our busy holiday itinerary. It’s somewhere to sleep, but not a holiday experience, so I’d rate it three stars.
