I liked how high the ceilings were. It made the place feel open and comfortable, more like a friend's apartment than a hostel. I was after an affordable spot in the city center, so the location worked out well. There was a pub right around the corner, close enough to pop over in slippers, listen to music, have a drink, then head back. The staff were helpful, too. I got a couple of calls from their cellphone, which I appreciated. One thing that felt awkward: my personal belongings were in boxes in the next room, so I had to keep going in there whenever I needed something and felt like I was bothering the people there. The fridge was small as well. I think a place like this needs a bigger one.

When we arrived for our booking, the man sprayed air freshener on the sheets and made the bed. There were still dirty marks and hairs left by the previous guest. The bathrooms were gross, too. I told him and left. He didn't deny that he hadn't changed the sheets. I wouldn't recommend it.

Ramaz and Ana made the stay at Taj Hostels feel like home. I've traveled around Europe quite a bit and haven't found many places this cozy. The hosts were friendly and always available, there were no restrictions, and everything was very clean. All the rooms had wide windows. It's a wonderful place to stay in TBILISI, Georgia. I highly recommend it, and would happily come back again and again. Keep up the good work. God bless.

It's a quiet hostel in a good spot, with several historical places within walking distance. The appliances are all there. Just don't expect too much.

It's in a great spot near Freedom Square, but there was no AC as claimed. On arrival, there was a really bad smell, and with no ventilation it just lingered. They also ask you to take your shoes off, which seemed odd since the floor wasn't clean. The guy in charge was very nice, though, so I can't give it one star.
