Tbilisi Inn Hotel

We had a great stay in Georgia, a beautiful country full of history. Tbilisi Inn hotel is also very conveniently located for getting to all the beautiful spots in Tbilisi. The service was so good, and everyone was kind and helpful. Susan, who looks after breakfast each morning, deserves a special thank you for being so helpful and serving with a smile. The food was great and served on time. Thanks also to the kind, helpful man at the front desk, though I’ve forgotten his name. I’d recommend this hotel!

For a supposedly 4-star hotel, not having water in the room was awful. When we asked at reception, we were told it costs 2 lari. We pointed out again that there was no water, and then heard that the supplier hadn’t delivered. This was the worst hotel ever for us. Don’t come here.

The location near the airport was convenient, but the rest of the stay was disappointing. The AC in the room didn’t work, and the bathroom light was out. Breakfast only starts at 9 AM, which is late for travelers, and there wasn’t a proper coffee or egg option. It wasn’t worth the money, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

We booked four days and three nights after the hotel looked attractive on its website, but the stay didn’t match what we expected. The staff were nice, though manager Dianne came across as a bit rude and unprofessional. I don’t think this deserves a 4-star rating, or even the one star I’m giving it here. On our first night, loud music from the rooftop restaurant next to the hotel kept us awake from 9pm. We were on the third floor and could feel the bass through our room walls. Reception already knew the music would continue until 1am, so we had to wait until then to get any decent sleep. The next day, we asked to move rooms, but the hotel was fully booked. They transferred us to another room on the same side of the building, which felt like poor service and showed little concern for customer satisfaction. On the third day, we got up early to shower and found there was no hot water. Reception said the rainy weather meant they had to change something and it would be fixed soon. We waited two and a half hours. By then, we just wanted to leave and get a refund for the day we couldn’t use. There was no manager at 8am, and reception staff couldn’t decide. I tried calling Dianne, but she kept declining my calls while replying to my messages. She could have negotiated with us. We got no refund and had a terrible hotel experience. The facilities are old and need renovation. The staff need a more professional attitude, the service was poor, and room rates should be lower. They should change the hotel category to 3-star.
