The kitchen and lounge have been renovated beautifully, and the host made us feel very welcome. We were tucked away from the noise of busy tblisi city, right in the old town. It felt like a private little oasis, almost like staying at a family friend's guest house.
I booked by mistake and decided not to stay. The inside of the home was fine, but the passage leading to it gave me a bad feeling. This didn't have the pleasant old-fashioned feel I found elsewhere in tblisi, it felt like poverty. With the kitchen and bathroom shared, I wouldn't recommend it for a family.
The hosts were lovely and the location was great. In the room with the sofa, a coffee table and closet would have helped. We used the sofa as our closet instead. I'd happily recommend the place.
A really authentic, comfortable place, and the hosts are lovely. The value for the price is beyond praise. If we come back to Tbilisi, this is where we'll stay.
