I'm reviewing the restaurant only. The staff were friendly, but the wait was endless. There were no prices on the menu, and the food was very mediocre and lacked flavor. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

The terrace has a great view, and we enjoyed a pitcher of good red wine. We used their taxis, paying 120 gel for a ride to the glacier and 180 gel to Mestia, or 60 per person.

The mountain scenery and fresh air made me feel great, especially with those incredible views from 3,000 meters above sea level. The hotel was very nice, and both the restaurant and service were good. You can also hire horses for a ride to Mount Shkhara.

The service was so awful that it put me off wanting to see Svaneti at all. I’d tell Georgian and international visitors to avoid this hotel. Georgia and its people are beautiful, kind, welcoming, and warm, but this hotel is an exception.

The rooms were spotless, the staff were so kind, and everything had a peaceful, luxurious feel. Even the little details seemed just right, and the views were breathtaking. It went beyond what I expected. I’d happily come back again and again.
