For a work trip, this was a solid stay. The rooms look recently renovated, the service was professional, and the WiFi was over the top. Breakfast could use some work, though.

I only stayed one night, but it was great. Their shuttle took about a minute to reach the airport, even closer than their other hotel. My room was comfortable, and breakfast was included. They also have an in-house cafe. A kind welcome note on the bed from the staff was a lovely touch.

We checked out earlier than planned and are still waiting for a refund for the remaining booking. The room and upkeep were disappointing, especially compared with Palms Takoradi, and the prices felt more like a 4-star hotel than the 3-star experience we got. We found a broken bed frame, holes in the sheets, no towel, a dirty shower head, a faucet that came loose from the sink, dusty furniture, a low bathroom mirror shaped like a male reproductive organ, and a flickering emergency light partly covered with a Lipton carton to dim it. The shower tap was miswired too, so hot was cold and vice versa. Staff mostly looked surprised and took notes or pictures. They didn't seem able to resolve the problems and forgot to pass them on. They eventually offered a different room, but it was occupied, so the offer was withdrawn. The only giant mug for making tea looked like it came from a random flea market. Breakfast had no buffet and lacked both choice and taste. The pool was about the size of a large tub, with damaged tiles and dead plants for decoration. It felt like a far less than mediocre version of the tidy Holiday Inn it presumably used to be before Palms acquired it.

Lunch was so good yesterday that my wife and I came back again today. She had salmon, and I went with Jollof.

The meals tasted great, and the conferencing service was excellent.
