The biggest issue for me was having no internet, even though it was advertised. I also couldn't pay by credit card at the front desk. If that's listed as a payment option, they should make sure it actually works. Over my seven days, customer service was inconsistent. Some staff were genuinely helpful, though, and the hostel experience was okay overall.

The breakfast is really good, and The Pink Hostel is clean and easy to get to. Staff are friendlier on some occasions than others. There are no lockers in the dorms, so I couldn't leave my valuables safely and had to carry my money and computer around Accra all day and night.

We had a great stay at Pink Hostel. Our room was a good size, and the staff were helpful and gave us lots of information about the area. Amazing place and host, I'd recommend it to anyone.

The women's dorm was comfortable and had AC, but the toilet wasn't working while I was there. The Wi-Fi worked, though it was a little slow. At 70 cedis a night, it seemed a bit pricey compared with some other places in Ghana.

The power went out for a whole sweltering day during our stay. They may only run the generator for a few hours in the evening. The free Wi-Fi was also slow, and nearly impossible to access from the upper floors. We moved to Ampaqx Hotel a few doors down and were glad we did. The beds, rooms, and bathrooms were bigger, there were no stairs to climb, and it was quite a bit cheaper at 120 cedis a night. It isn't as well known, but could be worth a look. At the Pink Hostel, our double room felt cramped, with the bed taking up about 80% of the space, and it cost 157 cedis a night. The bathrooms were usable, but several fittings were broken and curtains were sometimes missing. The place was reasonably clean and tidy, the staff were fairly friendly, and breakfast was pretty good and free.
