The Alima Suites

There are two restaurants in the same building and a parking lot, and PALACE shopping mall is within walking distance. The hotel has only five rooms, but mine was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed and free Netflix on the TV.

I booked three nights at Alima Suites through Hotels.com, arriving on Christmas Eve. A leg of my flight was cancelled, so I didn’t get there until Christmas Day. I’d been messaging the staff directly on WhatsApp, which was really helpful. They kept my room, and although it was too late to get the lost night refunded, they gave me access to the mini bar and a complimentary breakfast on my first morning. The room looked just like the pictures: spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, with a large bathroom and shower. The hotel is intimate, which I liked, and easy to get to, close to Oxford Street. Bistro 22 is right across the street, and I went there more than once. Alima was responsive and accommodating from booking through the stay. I hope to return to Ghana soon and would stay here again. Highly recommend Alima Suites.

Aisha and Usman were great hosts. The location is convenient, with many good restaurants, supermarkets, and a pharmacy nearby. The room had a big, comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi, a nice coffee maker, and a Sharp Roku TV connected to fast internet for streaming. The modern decor still gave it a home away from home feel.

There are plenty of places to eat in, dine in, or get takeaway, as well as shops. The spacious suites are in a beautiful, well organized building with a range of businesses, including MiG Mart, telefonika, le Pavillon, Assents property portal, and Sub box cake shop.
