Comfort Beach Resort has a gorgeous tropical setting, about 40 feet from the shoreline. Coconut fronds move in the breeze, and watching the waves roll against the rocks is soothing. The area feels safe, people are welcoming, and public transport is easy to find. John is amazing, courteous, and businesslike. Tina needs to stop pouting and dress more appropriately for her role, leggings and a crop top don't suit it. I paid less than USD $100 for ten days, so I knew it was cheap, but some things were hard to overlook. There was no warm water, and sometimes no water at all. When it was available, the pressure didn't reach the shower head, so we used a bucket. They advertised free WiFi, but there was none. The power went out for a whole day and night, and without a generator it was hot and miserable. The advertised continental breakfast was the same onion and tomato omelette with white bread every day. Our room was cleaned once in ten days, and we had to ask for that.

John, the manager, was kind and tried to make the best of a bad situation. The owners don't even live in the country, and it shows: the place feels like a money grab without the support staff need for much-needed updates. There's not even a microwave, and all our leftovers spoiled during an 18-hour power outage with no backup generator. My husband also saw a huge hole in the bathroom ceiling and worried vermin might fall through it. We cut our trip short and moved on. When we packed, my husband's suitcase lock slipped under the bed. Lifting the mattress to retrieve it revealed enough dust bunnies to make another room, along with several used condoms. Earlier, we'd asked for the room to be cleaned and refreshed. The attendant made the bed with the same sweaty sheets, left the dirty towel folded on the floor, and left the breakfast dishes in the room. The pillowcases were dirty too, so we made our own. The rooms and hotel are extremely outdated, even for me as a world traveler. There is no hot water. I brought a submersible water heater to heat some myself. When town power went out, the night became terribly hot and uncomfortable. The provided breakfast was an omelette, dry bread, and instant coffee, Milo, or tea, sometimes with an eggshell in the omelette. There is no restaurant, so you'll have to find food nearby. Sahara was a good option with fair prices. I wrote this to help people looking for a cheap place while exploring the area. Comfort Beach Resort is a hard pass, even by the standard of getting what you pay for. Save up a little more and stay elsewhere.

There was no power for a day and no generator. There was no microwave or restaurant to get food, and the service was poor. Our room also went unchanged for three straight days. It was really bad, though the customer service was good.

We were so happy to stay in such a beautiful place. The service was friendly and very nice, and the home-cooked food was really good. It felt like the best place in Ghana. I hope we can come back soon. Many thanks from Czech ❤️🇨🇿

We had an amazing time, it was the most beautiful part of our time in Ghana. The service was very good, and the room was really clean. The beach is in a quiet spot. Thank you for such a wonderful time! 🇨🇿
