I’ve stayed twice and had great service both times. It’s a nice, quiet place to spend the night, though I found dirt under the beds and in some drawers. The wiring wasn’t very good, perhaps because I chose a low-cost room. There are two buildings, one of which looks great, while the other is the low-cost option.
They should include breakfast. On my last visit, the room’s AC had a problem and was leaking water.
The only person who tried to make our one-night stay more comfortable was the security man at the gate. The room floors and beds had bugs and cockroaches; the bathroom tiles still had soap stains from previous guests, the toilet pots were unclean, and the AC barely cooled the room. The receptionist was disrespectful and said giving patrons a place to sleep was a favor. There weren’t even tables in the restaurant for guests to have a meal or snack. Better lodging options are available, so use this only if you’re really desperate 😳
Every day during our week-long stay, the cleaning women cleaned the room and replaced our towels and bed linen. The staff were all friendly, personable, and greeted everyone with big smiles. Our experience was amazing and unforgettable, with excellent service throughout. Kudos to Mr. Kwame Opoku Boakye (Manager, Charsma Hotel). We had a great stay and recommend the hotel.
The water is the main thing I want to mention, though I won’t get into how dirty the place was. When you try to shower, it comes out in little spurts instead of flowing properly, and they know about it. This hotel isn’t worth even one day. 👎
