Milgwen Hotel

My room was spacious with a simple setup, and the queen bed was okay, though I don't like colored bedsheets. The receptionist was professional. The bathroom needs a lot of maintenance, and the hotel feels old with an outdated approach to upkeep. The road leading there is in bad shape.

The staff were wonderful, and the big bed was comfortable. The water heater worked well, parking felt secure, and they even wash your car. Breakfast was okay, although there was only one choice. The bathroom could use a better clean, the WiFi coverage was well below par, and the road in is awful. There are also signs of damp and leaks on the walls.

It was a peaceful place, but getting a few nights' rest there took too much effort. Cockroaches greeted us on the first night, the room felt stuffy even though we'd called a week ahead to give them time to air it out, and the sheets were dirty. We had to request fresh ones and change them ourselves. Nobody cleaned the room when we were out, despite leaving the key. We even had to carry our own rubbish to the bin. Honestly, the water was the least of our problems.

It's a quiet hideaway away from the noisy part of town, which suited someone looking for peace of mind. The hotel is affordable and has most of the amenities you'd expect at its level. The receptionist was great and made sure the stay was memorable. Public transport doesn't reach it easily, and the road there is in poor condition, though still passable.
