The piano bar is loud and keeps playing music until 3am. Even on the third floor, I could hear it through the paper-thin walls. The taxi stand outside seems to draw people who scream all night. If you don’t want to sleep, stay here. It’s not worth the price, and while it claims four stars, it feels more like a two-star hotel. The room was generally okay and the shower was nice, but it was basic and the towels were scratchy. Breakfast was okay, served from 7-10am. The restaurants are nice.

A pretty basic place that did the job. The room was fine, though my wife and I ended up with two twin beds. Breakfast was actually very good, and the location is central in Nuuk. It didn’t come across as a higher-end option.

I stayed one night after leaving a cruise, and it was a really nice visit. There’s a supermarket right across the way. The breakfast buffet was absolutely wonderful, and dinner was to die for.

The food was a real standout, especially at Restaurant Sarfalik, with fresh local flavors and top-tier service. The view across Nuuk was breathtaking, and my room was spotless and cozy. Staff were incredibly welcoming. Hotel Hans Egede was a perfect location with great comfort, and it exceeded all my expectations. I can’t wait to come back!

There are two restaurants in the building, one a steakhouse and the other a seafood place, plus a bar. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, and overall I had a good stay. At this price, the hallways could use an update. Rooms facing the main road can get loud on weekends. The location is very central, across from a grocery store and about two blocks from Nuuk center.
