The boat transfer and hike were incredible, and we also had a great time on the ATV tour. The staff were so friendly and gave us a memorable taste of Greenlandic hospitality. Hotel Sisimiut was an outstanding base for locally sourced food, local experiences, and getting out into the Arctic terrain. I’d happily stay again ♥️

After nine days on the Arctic Circle Trail, the Hikers Special was such a treat. It was available for one, two, or three nights and included breakfast, a free sauna, and one laundry load.

The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fabulous, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Even when the restaurant was quite full, we never had to wait, and dinner was always delicious. Breakfast was great too. The rooms were comfortable, and the Rituals bath products and shoe dryers were especially appreciated after the Arctic Circle Trail. Coming from Kangerlussuaq, this is the first hotel you reach when you finish the trail in Sisimiut. They have good hiker deals, and if you're heading the other way and need gas canisters, check the 'from guest to guest' box first. It had plenty that were full or almost full. We loved our stay ❤️

The rooms were warm, quiet, and comfortable when I stayed here before and after the Arctic Circle Race 2023 in late March and early April. It was easy to get to the arena and cultural center, both just minutes away. I also appreciated being able to reach the restaurant through an indoor passageway. There’s a nice gift shop near reception.

The motel-like feel was nice, and the staff were great. There are fun adventures on offer, and everything you need is within walking distance. I was well looked after, though at check-in nobody told me whether breakfast was included, so make sure to confirm that.
