I’ve always had a great time at Ngala Lodge Hotel, especially enjoying the rooms, food, and service. I hope the hotel will consider a few ideas that could make the experience even better. It would be helpful to have more ways to reach the hotel, since enquiries through Instagram can be difficult and WhatsApp isn't available yet. I’d also love the option to book just one night, which would give travelers more flexibility. A spa could be a lovely addition too. The restaurant menu feels a little limited, so some more variety would be welcome. Thanks for continuing to give guests a great experience. I hope you’ll consider these suggestions.

The staff are wonderful, and the view and atmosphere are fantastic. I haven’t managed to stay at ngala lodge yet, and I’m not sure how I could arrange that, but I keep coming back to the restaurant. Almost every time I’m in the Gambia, I make a reservation and enjoy the food and vibes. It’s always one of my choices.

I fly out tomorrow and honestly don't know how to describe Ngala. It's beyond perfect, with staff who are incredibly kind and friendly. Head chef Peter has become a friend for life since I introduced him to the realities of single malts. This hotel, and Gambia as a whole, has changed my life. There aren't enough stars to rate this place.

Every suite has its own character, reflecting the owner, whose presence you can feel throughout the hotel. It’s a real retreat from everyday bustle and works just as well for a holiday as for a work trip. Breakfast starts at 7.30am, and the restaurant stays open for most of the day, closing after dinner. There’s a good range of food, from lighter choices to Tiger Prawns, a Seafood Platter, and Imported Brazilian Beef Fillet. An amazing hotel that goes beyond what you need.
