You can be near all the Senegambia activity and still get a quiet night here. The apartments have everything you need, and there’s a great pool.

We keep returning to Forest View Apartments, and the combination of helpful staff and a peaceful place to unwind is a big reason why. The team are welcoming from the start and readily available when you need them. It’s right by the Senegambia Strip, with restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife close by, and the beach is an easy walk away. Even with all that nearby, the apartments themselves stay calm. The pool gets daily attention and is clean and relaxing. The apartments are comfortable, sturdy, very clean and well maintained, with air conditioning, good WiFi and a washing machine. To us, they’re up to European standards.

Our first visit to The Gambia was four weeks here, and we were impressed. Staff went out of their way to help, even arranging a currency exchange at a very good rate. The apartment had good equipment and was serviced every three days, and the pool was well cared for. We hated leaving, but plan to come back next year and stay longer.

The pool is cleaned every day, the water pressure is great, and there are nice sunbeds. The apartment was quiet at night during Ramadan, though I can imagine weekends outside Ramadan might be noisier. It’s a good self-catering option, with equipment close to European standards, including a washing machine, kettle, stove, TV and air conditioning.

The A1 apartment is clean, with modern furnishings and everything equipped. You can step straight out to the terrace and pool, and fibre high-speed WiFi is included.
