I think every positive review here is fake. Stay away from this so-called hotel. I've never had a worse experience anywhere. The noise next door went on all night: loud music, constant smoking on the balcony, and no response when I complained to reception. I only got to sleep once it finally quieted down around 04:42. The first room was filthy, with stains on the walls and sofa and an air conditioner that didn't work. After I complained, they moved me to a room that was even worse. When I raised it with the manager, I got a useless apology, but they still expected me to pay for the night. A receptionist said the only noise was “a TV,” basically calling me a liar. They moved me a third time because another guest was arriving, not to solve the problem. The people running this place seem clueless. Calling it a hotel is a stretch, it felt more like short-term brothel rentals.

My daughter and niece were thrilled to see the monkeys and birds, and we all appreciated how much the staff went out of their way to help. We had a great week at Coconut Residence, enjoying the clean pools and lovely grounds.

I only went for the restaurant's grand opening buffet, I didn't stay at the hotel. The desserts were wonderful, and the chicken was superb, though the beef came out dry and overcooked. There were just two meat choices, and the side dishes could've been more creative. It was meant to begin at 5, but the food wasn't ready until after 7. They offered only one small glass of juice.

Spacious room, peaceful surroundings and a good budget price. More variety in the continental food would be an improvement.
